This is a shot of the famous Beehive Cluster (also known as M44) taken with a Vivitar 500mm F6.3 lens. The exposure was 8 minutes. The conditions under which the photo was taken were marginal at best (significant light pollution). Photos taken from Wilbraham, MA. Film: Kodak Royal Gold 400.
