Pleiades taken w/ Vixen 102 ED Refractor

Here is a photo of the Pleiades taken with the Vixen 102 ED refractor. The conditions under which this image was taken were terrible... I drove 50 miles to a fairly dark sky site only to have it promptly haze over. Disgusted, I decided to shoot anyway as this was a "shakedown" for my new ED refractor as an astro-imager. Overall I am very pleased with the perfromance of the Vixen 102 ED as an imager, it is a "keeper". This image is the result of two stacked 5 minute exposures. Film was Kodak Royal Gold 400. Taken 23 December from Colebrook Reservior, CT.
