Here are two photos of the close pairing of the Moon and Venus at dawn on the morning of 27 January 1995. The wide angle photo was taken w/ Pentax K1000 using a 135mm f/2.5 lens, 200 ISO Kodak film. Exposure not known exactly (but somewhere around 2 seconds). The second exposure (close up) was through a Celestron 500mm F6.3 Maksutov telephoto lens. Location was my front yard in Oakdale, CT USA. I remember being very cold standing outside at 5:30am while taking these photos!
