The "True" North Star?

This photo represents an attempt to find a true North Star, sort of a "super" circumpolar view. I pointed a Celestron CG-11 at what I thought was the true north pole, and shut the scope's drive off. The CG-11 had a focal reducer for effective focal length of 1765mm @F6.3. The camera had Kodak Royal Gold 1000 film. Exposure time not recorded (I went in the house to get warmed up). I was hoping to capture a star image that did not move... this would be the "true" North Star. Guess I'll have to try again... Photo taken from Wilbraham, MA USA on 7 March 1997.
