Farmall M Image Gallery 11: Farmall M with a Bush Hog Squealer Part 2

This image gallery contains various photos of the Farmall M with a Bush Hog Squealer (brush cutter) attached via the Saginaw 3-point Hitch. Also installed is a new "brush bar" fabricated from scrap steel. Each photo will open in a new window so you won't have to keep clicking back to this page. A thumbnail shot of each image is shown on this page.

Welding up an improved brush bar for the front of the Farmall M. This new brush bar is wider and much taller than the old one, plus it has a protective screen to keep brush from poking at the radiator. Click Here for the full size image (opens in a new window)

The finished brush bar about to get a test run. Click Here for the full size image (opens in a new window)

Back the the field, in search of some good test material. The cleared area of this field was done using the Farmall earlier in the year. Click Here for the full size image (opens in a new window)

Tackling a nasty mound of briars and bushes... the brush bar keeps all this junk largely away from the tractor! Click Here for the full size image (opens in a new window)

Bulldozing down a clump of small trees... the brush bar once again makes short work of this material. Click Here for the full size image (opens in a new window)

Challenging an unbelievably dense mass of grape vines, briars, and other assorted bushes. The Farmall M handled this jungle with relative ease (and a minimum of scratches thanks to the improved brush bar). Click Here for the full size image (opens in a new window)

A good shot of the front of the imrpoved brush bar. In this shot, the screen on the brush bar is coming off due to not being secured well enough. Tie-wraps were used, however those we had on hand were too light duty for the task. Heavy duty ones will be used in the future. Click Here for the full size image (opens in a new window)

Did a bomb go off here? No... the Farmall M, brush bar, and Bush Hog Sqealer took this jungle down. A near imprentrable mass of brush has been reduced to shreds! Click Here for the full size image (opens in a new window)
